Dr. Darius Norton Cooper, NCC, LPC

Founder and Director of Reality and Resolution Professional Counseling Services, Inc. with Ph.D. in Human Services specializing in Professional Counseling. His dissertation, titled Treatment Success: An Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Therapeutic Community in One Hospitalization Setting, was considered one of the first major studies to examine the therapeutic community in a short-term setting.

In addition, Dr. Cooper is a Board State Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of Georgia and a Nationally Certified Counselor with degrees in Sociology, Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Counseling Studies. He is currently a professor teaching on various human behavior subjects and has over 20 years of experience with a focus on mental health, personality, and behavioral issues in Adult and Juvenile Corrections, Probation, Pre-Trial Services, Mental Health Community programs, and Psychiatric Hospitals.  He has extensive experience in conducting individual, couples, family, and group counseling, specifically on addiction and anger management.


 
Dr. Kim H. Tay

Dr. Kim H. Tay has a PhD degree in counseling psychology, and is licensed as a psychologist in the state of Georgia. He has extensive experience and training as a therapist and consultant, and is known for his caring and compassion style of working effectively with clients.

He has taught undergraduate and graduate coursework in psychology, counseling, and criminal justice at several universities in the USA and in Singapore. He specializes in working with individuals and couples in the areas of psychological wellness, stress/anger management, trauma recovery, relationship enrichment, and addiction issues.

 
Morris Handy, M.Ed., LPC, MAC. CCJAS

Morris has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 16 years and he is certified as a Masters Addiction Counselor (MAC) and Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Specialist (CCJAS). Morris was recognized and obtained the NCSA Football All American Award as a Wide Receiver in 1972, and in 1975 he joined the New York Jets as a free agent.

In 1980 he began his broadcast journalism career in Atlanta, Georgia, having worked at CNN Headline News as a Sportscaster. He also worked as a Radio News Anchor with WIGO-AM Radio, WAOK-AM Radio, and WVEE-FM Radio. Morris is currently a therapist at Ridgeview Institute working with young adults in the day hospital psychiatric unit.


 
Forrest Conoly, B.S., CRMS

Forrest is a Certified in Conflict Resolution and Mediation Specialist with a Bachelors degree in Social Science at the Florida State University, and the current Vice President of Operations and Co-Founder of the Non-Profit Organization division of The GlobalCare MSA Foundation.

Forrest has 5 years experience in Real Estate and Community Relations and over 11 years of experience in youth development and social services. His athletic achievements include 1st team, High School All American Football/Track; 4-year starter and 4-year letterman, The Florida State University, 91-95; National Championship, 1993.


 
Jamie N. Singleteary, M.A.

Jamie Singleteary is a Telecommunications graduate major in Corporate Media and Broadcasting and a double-minor in Speech Communication and Counseling Psychology at the Ball State University. Jamie joined the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleading Squad for the 2002-2003 seasons after graduation. As a member of this elite organization, she was an ambassador for the NFL and a representative for her community.  

While pursuing her Masters, she was a member of the Atlanta Falcons Football Club for five seasons—2003-2008; as a member of this club, she was able to continue to extend her gratitude and expertise to the Atlanta community while upholding the standards and practices of the NFL. She is currently working as a Masters Level Case Manager for Ridgeview Institute where she facilitates the Dual Diagnosis Program, which is a group comprised of adults who are dually diagnosed with a mental health illness coupled with addiction dependence.
